T.G.I.F.: Grindhouse Restaurant Review

Hello and T.G.I.F! Chef Michelle here and I've got another restaurant review for you. If you love burgers and live in Atlanta or plan to visit, then this one is for you...

I finally made my way over to Grindhouse to experience their "Killer Burgers." I’ve driven past their Piedmont location on numerous occasions, especially since it’s across the street from Fat Matt’s (one of my big time favs).

BURGER TIME!!!

We walked in to find that they had counter service, so we scanned the billboard menu to decide what to eat. There were a ton of burgers to choose from, you can build or own or choose one of their "burger styles". I decided on the Cowboy Style Burger and Sweet Potato Kettle Chips. After ordering we took our number outside and found a table on their huge patio.

After about 10 minutes, this is what landed in front of me...

Cowboy Burger, Sweet Potato Kettle Chips and Blue Cheese and Chive Dip

Cowboy Burger with Thick Cut Bacon, Cheddar Cheese, a Crispy Vidalia Onion Ring and BBQ Sauce

The burger was delish... cheesy, crunchy, tangy goodness. Those Kettle chips on the other hand, horrible. They tasted burnt and bland, not a good combo. The blue cheese chive dip was yummy, but those Sweet Potato Kettle Chips need a little help.

All in all, it was pretty good for a meal under $10 bucks. I wouldn't choose this burger over the Vortex burgers, but I'd go back if I was in the neighborhood. Check it out for yourself and let us know what you think!
