Mondays With Michelle: Dinner Favorites

Welcome back to Monday's with Michelle!  This past week has been super crazy busy for me. With work, recovering from the holiday and other projects, I thought this would be the perfect time to share another one of my favorite go to dinner meals: Feta stuffed Turkey burger and garlic-y Green Beans, check out the details below:

Feta Stuffed Turkey Burgers

Ingredients:

1lb ground turkey
1/2 onion diced
2 garlic cloves minced
1 package plain crumbled feta cheese
White Spice to taste

Instructions

In a bowl mix ground turkey meat, diced onions, minced garlic, and plain crumbled feta cheese. Season the mixture generously. Form the mixture into good sized burgers. Cook burgers in a sauté pan with a splash of vegetable oil over medium heat until they have a nice sear and are cooked all the way through, about 15-20 minutes depending on the size of your burgers.

*Insider Tip: don’t you dare clean that pan after your burgers are done! Use that delicious burger residue to toast your buns. Just place them face down in the left over fat until your buns are nice golden and tasty.*

Garlic-y Green Beans

Ingredients:

1 lb Green Beans
2 garlic gloves chopped
1 Tbs olive oil
White spice to taste

Instructions:

Blanch your green beans for 2-3 minutes, drain, and then put directly on ice. Add the olive oil to the pot with the garlic. Add your green beans and toss for a couple minutes until they are well coated with that garlic-y goodness. Season with White Spice to taste.

Finally grab your toasted bun and build your burger with sliced tomatoes, a few spinach leafs and ketchup and mustard (and whatever else your heart desires). Add some of those yummy Garlic-y Green Beans to your plate and you've got dinner!
