TV MOVIE REVIEW: Who Is Simon Miller?

True Lies 2011 style...this time the kids get in on the action.

Who Is Simon Miller? opens giving us a glimpse into a typical American nuclear family. Simon a business who travels often; his wife Meredith who manages the family in his absence and is managing her own feelings brought on by her husband's frequent absences from home; and two teenage kids, an honors student who is beginning to act out and her brother, a socially awkward boy who has more fun with technology than people. Despite these challenges everything is going along fine until Simon abruptly disappears without a trace. This is when the fun begins.

What begins as your everyday agent goes rogue tome erupts into a multitude of double blinds that leaves you wondering who are the good guys from one scene to the next. And while all this is going on Simon's family is left swinging in the balance. But instead of waiting for him to come home, they take matters into their own hands and make the shocking discovery that the man of the house is a man of mystery and espionage. Disillusioned, sad and angry, Simon's wife is left holding a bag of emotions that has her questioning her love for a man she's no longer sure she knows and his two teenage children are filled with the expected doses of anger and disappointment. They don't take this lying down. They want answers and they launch out on a "mission" of their own that takes them across the pond to Europe and into some pretty dangerous situations. The experience will test their strength as individuals and their bonds as a family.




Who is Simon Miller? stars Loren Dean and Robyn Lively. It is the latest addition to the Family Movie Night series produced by the partnership between Walmart and Proctor & Gamble.
